About Participation 体験の受け入れについて
SAMURAI EXP welcomes individual travelers, private groups, travel agencies, companies, and organized groups from overseas. Please contact us to discuss your preferred date, number of participants, travel itinerary, venue, and requested experience.

About the Experience 体験の内容について
The standard experience duration is approximately 80 to 90 minutes. Programs can be customized according to your travel schedule, group size, and requests. Sessions are mainly held Monday to Thursday at Sakae Noh Theater. For groups of 20 or more participants, venues such as the Artpia rehearsal rooms may also be arranged. All experiences require advance reservation. Guests can also enjoy a samurai-style costume photo session.
標準体験時間は約80〜90分です。旅行日程、参加人数、ご希望に応じて内容のカスタマイズを検討できます。通常は月曜日〜木曜日を中心に栄能楽堂で実施します。20名以上の団体では、アートピアの演劇練習室などの利用もご相談いただけます。すべて事前予約制です。サムライ衣装での記念撮影もお楽しみいただけます。

Experience Flow 体験の流れ
- Welcome and preparation
Reception and changing into training wear, if requested. - Instructor demonstration and cultural introduction
Learn about iaido, Japanese swords, and samurai culture. - Etiquette, posture, and breathing
Practice the basic etiquette, posture, and breathing used in Japanese martial arts. - Basic sword movements
Learn safe basic movements using a replica sword. - Iaido practice
Experience simple forms and focused movements under the instructor’s guidance. - Samurai photo session
Take commemorative photos in samurai-style training wear.

居合道、日本刀、サムライ文化について分かりやすくご説明します。 - 礼法・姿勢・呼吸
日本武道の基本となる礼法、姿勢、呼吸を体験します。 - 刀の基本操作
安全な模擬刀を使い、刀の扱い方と基本動作を学びます。 - 居合道体験
講師の指導により、基本的な型や動きを体験します。 - サムライ記念撮影
稽古着・袴や陣羽織を着用し、記念撮影をお楽しみいただけます。

- Flexible scheduling can be considered according to your itinerary, group size, venue availability, and instructor availability.
旅行日程、参加人数、会場、講師の状況に応じて、曜日や時間の調整をご相談いただけます。 - Lessons are led by qualified instructors with experience and ranks in martial arts and iaido.
武道・居合道の有段者が講師を務めます。 - Training wear, replica swords, and other necessary equipment are provided.
稽古着、袴、模擬刀など、体験に必要な道具は基本的に用意しています。 - Equipment quantities and clothing sizes are limited.
道具の数や衣装のサイズには限りがあります。 - Guests may change into training wear or participate in comfortable casual clothing, depending on the program.
稽古着へ着替えるほか、体験内容により動きやすい私服での参加も可能です。 - No previous martial arts experience is required.
武道や居合道の経験は必要ありません。
